Elementary MathFest

Elementary MathFest is a math tournament for 4th and 5th grade students. The tournament is held twice a year, fall and spring semesters. Students are challenged with a computation round, a ciphering round and a problem-solving test. Our top ten scorers will receive a trophy! 

Elementary MathFest Fall 2019 Winners

Computation : a timed test of basic skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, square roots & percent-conversion).

Ciphering : consists of 10 questions; students are allowed 2 minutes to solve each question.

Problem-solving : a 30 minute test comprised of 25 questions. No calculators are allowed and no penalty for guessing.

MathFest Dates 2019 - 2020:

Fall: Saturday, October 19th

Note: There will not be a spring MathFest this year.  We look forward to offering both fall and spring MathFest events next school year!
